You may need to replace the aluminum foil a couple of times because it will become a really tight ball when you use it and put pressure on it. Thanks, Ken! I was so happy when the black turned out better than expected. I have a new anodizing "tank" now. I am using 3 gallons of distilled water and 15 cups of ph down. I still need to refine this setup as far as connecting the anode lead and I am still using aluminum foil as well.
